Call for
Applications to Become a Member of the Board of Directors
The Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital
Corporation is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors to oversee the
Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital and the Arnprior Grove Nursing
Home.
The Board of Directors currently
seek applications for the 2010 to 2013 term to commence in June 2010.
The Ontario health care environment presents
significant challenges and opportunities that require a strong and
insightful Board of Directors capable of providing a vision and
direction that ensures ongoing success.
We
are seeking candidates from all the communities we serve -- the Town of
Arnprior,
the Township of McNab/Braeside,
the Ward of Pakenham in the Town of Mississippi Mills, and Ward 5
(formerly West Carleton) in the City of Ottawa.
We invite applications from a wide
range of individuals including, but not limited to, those in the health
care field and individuals with relevant work and life experience.
Desired backgrounds include leadership, strategic planning and resource
management. A balance of viewpoints and skill sets are required to
ensure a broad representation of community
perspectives. To ensure the
most effective board, requirements for new members may vary from year to
year, as openings become available. To this end, only applicants meeting
the current requirements will be invited to an interview. All applicants
will receive a response to their application.

difference in the wellness and health care of our community, and possess
the desired background and skill set, please consider serving as a
