Arnprior, ON, December 21, 2006 – In the spirit of the season, Rob McGonigal, President of McGonigal Construction, and the McGonigal family donated $50,000 to the Arnprior & District Memorial Hospital’s Partners in Caring Campaign.

Rob, a native of Arnprior, and wife Janet understand the need to ensure that this great community continues to be taken care of by our great hospital.  Janet McGonigal adds, “ADMH is important to the community and supporting it is truly about the community spirit.” 

“This community has been good to me and my family.  I remember seeing Dr. Cho Chu when I was a kid and have fond memories of the treatment I received.  When my mother was sick, the hospital took very good care of her.  I feel that it’s time to give back.”

McGonigal Construction, founded in 1984, continues to serve Arnprior as well as Eastern Ontario from North Bay to Oshawa and Trenton.

The Arnprior & District Memorial Hospital and the Partners in Caring Campaign truly appreciate the generosity of the McGonigal family and are grateful to have friends like Rob.

About the Campaign
The Partners in Caring Campaign is a fundraising initiative to raise $3.5 million to renovate the Arnprior & District Memorial Hospital’s Emergency Department. The renovations to the Emergency Department will lead to better health care and more effective patient service. Our over-riding objective is to create a state of the art facility that meets the needs of patients from across our service area.  The community phase of the campaign will officially be launched in the spring of 2007.
