Arnprior, ON, March
20, 2007 – Nu-Tech Precision Metals, a major employer in Arnprior
since the 1970’s, donated $50,000 to the Partners in Caring Campaign
to renovate the Emergency Department at ADMH.
The cheque was
presented to Campaign Co-Chair, Tommy Sullivan, by Nu-Tech’s Joint
Health & Safety Team: Sanjiv Kalra, Plant Manager, Sandye Hook,
Sales Manager, Debbie O’Neill, Tensile Tester and Patricia Rousselle,
Receptionist.

Sanjiv spoke on
behalf of the team, “We are proud to support this very important
project.”
George Legate,
President and Mike Poirer, Chief Financial Officer expressed the
sentiment that it is important for businesses operating in Arnprior
to reinvest in the well-being of this great community.
Nu-Tech Precision
Metals, established in the 1950’s and operating out of Arnprior for
more than 30 years, is a major manufacturer of a wide variety of
metals and alloys for use in medical, aircraft, military, nuclear
and corrosive environments.
About the
Campaign
The Partners in Caring Campaign is a fundraising initiative to raise
$3.5 million to renovate the Arnprior & District Memorial Hospital’s
Emergency Department. The campaign is in its second phase and has
raised about $1.25 million to date. The community phase of the
campaign will officially be launched in late spring of 2007.
