Pfizer Demonstrates Its Leadership & Community Involvement

Arnprior, ON, Nov. 3 – Pfizer is a leader in the innovative pharmaceutical industry.  They have been a presence in Arnprior for 50 years.  In recognition of the Arnprior facility’s contribution to the success of Pfizer in Canada, the company has donated $50,000 towards the Partners in Caring Campaign to Renovate the Arnprior & District Hospital’s Emergency Department.

In addition, site leader John Carkner has set a challenge to Pfizer employees to raise an additional $25,000 for the campaign.  This is in keeping with the many years of community involvement that has been typical of Pfizer and its employees.

Partners in Caring Campaign
Investing in quality health care is an investment in our future.  Helping our hospital keep up with the rapid, ever-changing, technological revolution will help to maintain our high quality of care and will continue to attract valued professionals as our community grows.

The renovations to our Emergency Department will lead to better health care and more effective patient service. Our over-riding objective is to create a state of the art facility that meets the needs of patients from across our service area.  In the new year, the campaign will shift its focus to the community and everyone will have an opportunity to become a “Partner in Caring.”
