The ADMH Partners in Caring Foundation has a mandate to raise funds, receive donations to the hospital and nursing home, and recognize donors appropriately. There are several benefits to having a fundraising foundation:

> Encourage creative fundraising ideas
> Define fundraising goals for the hospital and nursing home
> Attract specific expertise in the areas of donor recognition and fundraising
> Protect non-governmental funds
> Receive and maintain a fund, plus investment income, that can be applied from time to time to the capital needs of the hospital and nursing home
