Music & Art
We all know what
good music does to us - it stimulates and motivates us. That's why music
is an important part of activities at The Grove.
Volunteers lead
approximately 15 or 20 residents in a Hymn Sing program in our
chapel each week. Volunteers also assist residents who
participate in art classes held once a month - and they make
sure that the works of art get up on the corridor walls for all
to enjoy! Music Hour, and some evening piano entertainment, is
also made possible through the talents of some very special
volunteers. Happy Time is a popular way in which to wind up the
week. Most Friday afternoons, volunteers gather residents
together to listen to music and much on some hors-d'oeuvres.
